Ritsumeikan's illusion

When the figure is moved on the retina (e.g. by swinging your glasses), English texts appears to move in the same direction. The blue text shows much stronger effects than does the yellow one. We (I and Dr. Ashida) consider this anomalous motion illusion as depending the visual delay of low-contrast regions as compared to high-contrast regions.
