障害学生支援室（以下、支援室）は、障害学生を担当する教職員へ、コーディネーターによる相談・情報提供を中心とした支援を行っています。障害学生の学修についてお困りの際は、お気軽に支援室までご相談ください。

授業担当教員の方へ

　ご担当の授業におきましては、障害学生の学びと成長を支援する視点から、学生それぞれのニーズに応じたご配慮をいただきますようお願いいたします。
　支援室では、障害学生・担当教員双方への支援を進める上で、以下のような取り組みを行っております。
　支援室へ支援申請をした障害学生の受講科目が判明した時点で、当該科目の授業担当の先生へ、該当者の氏名と障害の内容について支援室より書面でお知らせ いたします。また障害学生に対する授業運営方法に関わる参考資料を添付します。支援方法について別途支援室より相談をする場合もございます。その他授業運 営に関してご不明な点などありましたらいつでも支援室までご相談ください。

学部などの担当職員の方へ

視覚障害学生への各種事務連絡文書の点訳など、事務連絡等の情報保障に関する支援をします。

視覚障害学生の場合

レジュメや資料はテキストデータ化し、点訳・音声ソフトによる読み上げを行います。テキストデータの入手にかかわりご協力をお願いする場合があります。
パワーポイント資料、ビデオ、図、写真、グラフ等、視覚的な資料を使用される場合は、口頭で内容の解説をお願いいたします。
ビデオ教材使用時は、長時間に渡る場合、内容を解説するサポート学生が必要です。なるべく早く支援室にお知らせいただきますようお願いいたします。
授業時間内に提出する小レポートなどは、メールでの提出など方法や期限についてご配慮ください。

聴覚障害学生の場合

音声情報を書き取るノートテイカーが同席している場合があります。ゆっくりお話いただき、明瞭な発音をしていただきますようお願いいたします。
できるかぎりレジュメや資料などの視覚情報をご活用ください。
パワーポイントを使用される場合は、その内容を印刷したものを障害学生本人にお渡しいただけると理解が深まります。
ビデオ教材を使用される場合は、事前にその旨を障害学生までお伝えください。場合により教材をお借りし、音声を文字起こしする支援をいたします。
ディスカッションをする場合は、進行役が参加者に参加者「発言前に挙手し氏名を言う」「通訳者が先の発言を通訳し終えているか確認する」ことをルールとしていただきますようお願いいたします。

肢体不自由学生の場合

上肢に障害のある学生の場合、ノートを書き取る代筆者が同席している場合があります。また、車椅子などの操作のため介助者を配置している場合もあります。
授業時間内に提出する小レポートなどは、メールでの提出など、提出方法や期限についてご配慮ください。
受講登録確定後に必要に応じて教室変更をすることがあります。また、体温調節が困難な学生が受講している場合、空調管理を行っています。他の受講生への周知についてご協力ください。

定期試験について

必要に応じて、点字出題・解答、パソコンあるいは口述による解答、別室手配、時間延長などの配慮をいたします。試験実施についてご不明な点があれば、学部事務室までご相談ください。

Services for Faculty members

Disability Resource Center (DRC) serves for those teachers and faculty members who are dealing with students with disabilities, by providing relevant information and consultation opportunities conducted by professional staffs.

Teachers/ Instructors

Supports that students with disabilities may request vary from individuals, depending on the types and severity of their impairment. We would appreciate your accommodations with some flexibilities in order for disabled students to be able to achieve their academic goals, and to grow though the learning experiences in your class.

To better serve both for students with special needs and teachers/ instructors, DRC provides following information;

notify teachers/ instructors the information on students with disabilities, including name and types of disability (you may also receive this information from gakubu, department or kennkyuuka jimushitsu, research center administration office which student with disability belongs to).
provide teachers/ instructors with articles on practical ideas that aid disabled students in your class.
ongoing consultation available if necessary, to discuss over possible supports/ optional learning for student with disabilities, any troubles, and concerns.

Faculty members/ Administrative staffs

DRC staff can help you to transform administrative information/ messages into an appropriate form for students with disabilities (e.g., Braille data for students with visual impairment) .

Academic Accommodation for Students with Disabilities: Possible Considerations

Students Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired:

Please convert any handouts or informational materials to data form and provide them to the student via E-mail, or other means, prior to the start of each class.
Please give verbal explanations for any Power-Point, video, photographs, or graphs used in class.
Please be aware that in the cases that video is to be used in class, there is the possibility that an assistant may sit beside the blind or visually impaired student and give a verbal explanation of the video.
With regards to any reports, or assignments, which are to be submitted during class time, please have consideration with concern to deadlines, and allowing students to submit these reports via E-mail or other means.
When having class discussions, please instigate a rule whereby students must state their name to the class before proceeding with their discussion statement.

Students Who Are Deaf or Hearing Impaired:

There may be cases where a note taker will sit with a student who is deaf or hearing impaired in order to record information given in audio form during class. In these cases, please use clear pronunciation, and refrain from using rapid speech.
As much as possible, please provide these students with handouts and other written materials. These students will be able to gain more information through these visual materials.
If you are to use Power Point, video, etc., in class, please make sure to provide printed materials showing the content of these presentations for students who are deaf or hearing impaired.
We would appreciate your prior notice on plans of using audio visual materials in your class including TV documentary, movie and articles on youtube. We may ask you to borrow us the audio visual materials if necessary, to get a caption data for student with hearing impairment to understand its content.
When having class discussions, please instigate a rule whereby students must state their name to the class before proceeding with their discussion statement.

Students With Physical Disabilities:

There may be cases where a note taker will sit with a physically impaired student to take notes for the student during class. Also, in cases where the student is required to operate a wheelchair during class, an assistant may be placed in the class to assist the student. Accordanly, please be sure to secure an appropriate seat for these students, and ensure that access aisles are kept clear.
With regards to any reports, or other assignments which are to be submitted during class time, please have consideration with concern to deadlines, the use of surrogate writers, and allowing students to submit these reports via E-mail or other means.
We also ask for your cooperation with regards to class layout changes and heating and air-conditioning. Please contact your faculty office with regards to the special use of the heating and air-conditioning.

Final Exams

Where necessary, we ask that you consider using Braille question and answer sheets, allow computer based and/or verbal answers, allowing the exam to be taken in a separate room, and/or allowing for extra time to complete the exam. If you have any questions or concerns with regards to implementing final exams for students with disabilities, please contact your faculty office.
