Model course for Environmental Policy

It is a sample model course of “Degree Programme on Regional policy and planning” acquiring environmental policy in Graduate school of policy science (GSPS), Ritsumeikan University as following table 1.
GSPS will offer one research project focusing on “regional environment and planning” with basically three supervisors who are initially and tentatively assigned Professor Takao (environment economics), Professor Zhou (environment systems) and associate professor Kanegae (planning theory). In accordance with requirements from some JDS students, other supervisors are flexibly joining research projects from GSPS. Sustainable Development covers both development and environmental issues. It contains stable public and social management methods for entire region/area, which covers governance and administrations.
From the beginning of 1st semester until 4th(last) semester, student shall take at least 7 elective lectures that GSPS offered listed totally 10 and optional elective lectures totally 5.
