♦Description of This Course/Theme
Students are required to participate, as graduate research workers or observers, in research projects that are either directed by, or in which participate as full researcher either of Professors Watanabe, Dumouchel, or Nishi. The goal of this requirement is to help students to develop their own research skills and to measure the real quality of their own work by participating either in ongoing and funded research projects.
Study groups meetings will be held on an irregular basis depending mainly on the availability of senior researches and will sometimes take place on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

Students need strong motivation in order to learn the ways and develop the skills necessary to participate in collective research.

The method of evaluation will be continuous assessment.
