It is crucial that databases, online journals and eBooks, etc. users strictly observe the terms and
conditions of use as stipulated by copyright or source-right holders of database/e-journal materials.
Violators of terms of use may be subject to penalties including, but not limited to, revocation of access.
Rights holders of the various databases/e-journals establish terms and conditions of use;
it is necessary to adhere to not only those written guidelines, but avoid at all costs the infringement of copyrights, whether explicitly claimed or otherwise.

Authorized reproductions (excerpts, copies, etc.) are to be utilized for academic or scholarly purposes only.
The dissemination or mass-quantity reproduction of authorized DBI, whether free of charge or for profit, is illegal; should these violations be committed with malicious intent, violators may be subject to criminal penalties.
It is illegal to knowingly make use of an unauthorized DBI reproduction: please take care in using reproductions.
The following constitute reproduction (in addition to photocopying):
- Saving DBI (via web browser save function), and downloading this information to amemory device from a campus internet terminal
- Printing DBI (via web browser print function)
- Adding DBI to the Core Databases and recovering added DBI by e-mail or fax DB
- Transferring downloaded DBI from one data-storage medium (Floppy disk, flashmemory drive, etc.) to another medium
