<Tasks>
The e-mail assignments should be done individually while creating web pages and oral presentations should be done by small groups of 3 or 4.

<Topics to choose>
Topics that each group chooses should be different, so if the same topic is chosen by multiple groups, it should be adjusted. Possible topics recommended are liberal-arts-oriented: amusement parks, art, cities, countries, culture, education, family and marriage, food, games, health, holidays, literature, business, movies, music, news, sports, etc.

<Tasks>
The e-mail assignments, creating a PowerPoint file, and an oral presentation should be done individually.

<Topics to choose>

Possible topics recommended are science- or technology-oriented: extinct animals, earthquake and architecture, astrology, computer crime, space travel, ozone layer, solar energy, mobile phones, human brain and memory, environmental hormone, gene technology, internal clock, garbage and recycling, etc.

<Homework>
You are expected to study for a few hours to complete each assignment and may have to make an extra effort to do it at home or after school.

<How to Submit Your Assignments>
You should send all the assignments through e-mail to knozawa@ip.media.kyoto-u.ac.jp by the planned due date.
<Evaluation>
Final grade = Attendance (20%) + 15 e-mail assignments (45%) + Oral Presentation (15%) + Web page files/PowerPoint file (20%)
