The Ritsumeikan University Newsletter was created to share recent research pursuits and international activities with our overseas partner institutions, international students and faculty, and overseas guests. We hope that this newsletter will serve to further mutual understanding and academic cooperation between RU and our colleagues around the world.
The Spring/Summer 2012 issue focuses on Ritsumeikan's attempts at taking research beyond the classroom and giving back to society. The issue gives a closer look at the research of Professor Kawamura Sado (College of Science and Engineering) and Professor Izuno Kazuyuki (College of Science and Engineering) as well as the recently completed ODENSE Project. Ritsumeikan and APU TOPICS as well as a Study in Kyoto Program student's blog entry are also in this issue.
