Part time Jobs

International Students are allowed to do part-time jobs both on-campus and off-campus in Japan. The numbers of hours international students are allowed to work is limited to 28 hours per week (8 hours per day during holidays). Before commencing part-time work, students are required to obtain “Permission to Engage in Activity other than that Permitted under the Status of Residence Previously Granted” (a part-time work permit).
