Sakura Science High School Program 2015

From May 9th to 11th and May 16th to 18th, high school students from various countries of Asia visited the Biwako-Kusatsu Campus under the Sakura Science High School Program hosted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). The program is divided into seven visits from May to August, hosting around 600 students. During the one week program, students spend the first 3 days in the Kansai region, learning Japanese culture, visiting famous sightseeing spots and visiting universities. In the latter part of the program, the students travel to the Kanto region and learn Japan’s most advanced technologies.
