question If I search on RUNNERS and find that the materials I want are at another campus, what should I do?
If you cannot find what you're looking for on campus, you can request materials from other campuses including APU. Users with student ID cards or faculty/staff ID cards can do this on RUNNERS. If you have a library card, please come to the counter for assistance. Materials sent among Kinugasa, BKC, OIC and Suzaku Campus is usually available in the evening of two days later. Materials sent to APU from the other campuses are usually available in 3 days. (These times do not include Saturdays, Sundays or long holidays.)
Ask at the service counter about getting journals or other internal-use-only items sent. Unbound journals are not eligible for inter-library loan. Please request the photocopying service.
question The materials I want to use are never available. Do I just have to wait for someone to return them?
If one user has had some materials on loan for more than one month, these can be recalled so that another user can borrow them for 14 days.
Only members of the university can use the Recall Service. (i.e. faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students) Inquire at the library counter to apply.
