Using Other Universities' Materials

Using Other Universities' Materials

If something you want to use is not in the Rits system, you can go view it at another university or research institute’s library. We will receive permission from the library and issue you an Introduction Letter. Take your Introduction Letter and your ID card with you to the library and you can use the materials. Please apply at the respective library counter.

■Using Overseas Libraries
How to enter overseas libraries varies depending on the library. Please check the website of the library that you will visit in advance. If you do not know how to use a library or an introduction letter to a library is required, please ask for assistance at the Reference Counter. It usually takes one week to issue an introduction letter after your request is accepted. For some overseas libraries, prior confirmation is needed. Please be sure to consult with a staff member at the Reference Counter with time to spare.
