I visited Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) in August 1964 just after The Gulf of Tonkin Incident. I accompanied both South Vietnam government troops and US troops taking photographs. That was fifty years ago. I am glad I became a photographer. It allowed me to record the changing conditions in Vietnam through my camera. (By Bunyo Ishikawa)
