*Especially for AY 2012 Kakenhi support, you must register to e-Rad within the allowed timeframe.
Application qualifications for RAs and TAs may depend on their contract, so please confirm this beforehand.

About e-Rad

* For the “Researcher Number” section in Application Form 1 is the Researcher Number assigned by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).

≪e-Rad≫　=　Electronic Research and Development System

e-Rad is a new database system offered by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to grasp the fact of ongoing researches. Researchers can use the system to get funds for their research projects from Japanese Government.

About Ritsumeikan University Researcher's Database

If you acquire your RAINBOW user ID by the end of March, your page on the Researcher Database will be available for use on April 1st.
If you acquire your RAINBOW user ID after April 1st, your page on the Researcher Database will be available for use approximately 3 days later (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays).
If you only have a temporary ID, you will not have use of a page in the Researcher Database.
Please acquire a RAINBOW user ID by the deadlines for Application forms 3db1 and 3db2 as listed above.

The Division of Research’s website is updated frequently. After beginning employment at Ritsumeikan University, be sure to log in on a regular basis using the RAINBOW ID issued after registration to check for the latest important information.
