Nursing care leave (Kaigo-kyuka)	Teaching staff and other staff with family members who require nursing care may apply for nursing care leave. Up to 10 days per academic year.
Nursing care leave (Kaigo-kyugyo)	Teaching staff and other staff with family members who require nursing care may apply for nursing care leave.365 days per eligible family member (spouse, parents, children, parents of spouse, grandparents, brothers and sisters, grandchildren)
Reduced working hours for nursing care	A system where teaching staff and other staff who require nursing care can choose to reduce their working hours.
Flextime system for Nursing care	A maximum of 60 minutes of flextime is allowed per day for the teaching staff and other staff with family members who require nursing care.
Subsidy for home helper use	Assistance for the use of a babysitter, temporary daycare service or a home helper when the parent is unable to provide childcare at home or provide nursing care Also valid for registration and renewal fees at the time of use (yearly cap of 60,000 yen) detail
Research support staff system	The system that provides a salary subsidy of up to 300,000 yen per term (6 months) to hire “research support staff” for continued research, in order to allow employees to balance their research activities with pregnancy, childbirth, childcare, nursing care and other life events.
