Program Report : Japanese Conversation Program Fall 2018
Japanese Conversation Program Fall 2018 for international graduate students was held during the period between Monday, Oct 22 2018 and Friday, Dec 3 2018 at Kinugasa Campus, Biwako-Kusatsu Campus and Osaka Ibaraki Campus.
Participants at KIC attended the lectures twice a week for 6 weeks, and participants at BKC and OIC attended the lectures once a week (two sessions per day) for 6 weeks. Students learned daily Japanese conversations and basic Japanese characters such as Hiragana and Katakana with the support of volunteer Japanese students participated in the program to help international students acquire Japanese.
Every time participants attended the class, their Japanese skills improved by little and many of them did a great job at the skit performance being presented on the last day of the class. Also, students played Japanese games and held a small party on the last day.
Most of the participants seemed very satisfied with this program, and some said, “This program is very useful for international students,” and others said, “Please make this program longer and offer more classes.”
