In graduate school, cutting edge robotics research is conducted in each laboratory. The graduate students will be the focus in promoting research projects in such fields as robot development for robotics, medicine and welfare as a science that is common to mankind and robots and robot development that contribute to solving social issues, such as environmental problems and disaster relief. The graduate students themselves will present the research results either at international meetings or as theses, and so far many prizes, including academic prizes, have been awarded,
Master's degree holders are demonstrating cross-cutting capabilities and play an active part in the industrial world such as machineries, electrical, medicine and social welfare. In addition, the school has produced a great number of doctoral graduates, and expanding the research and education activities who lead the world as national, public and private universities lecturers and corporate researchers.
