'04.10.31 名古屋市科学館にて開催された国際マイクロロボットメイズコンテスト2004に杉山・田中研より加藤君他、4回生全員で4チームで出場したところ、2チームがユニーク賞2件、アイデア賞1件（計3件）を獲得！Katoh-kun & B4 team won 3 prizes, one is 'Idea' prize, others are 'Unique' prizes, at Int'l Micro Robot Maze Contest 2004 in Nagoya !

Prof.Sugiyama was awarded the Year's Distinguished Prize of Science on Apr. 15 by the Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Technology for his excellent achievements and contributions of the research, on "Micro/Nano Structures Using Synchrotron Radiation".

A big party was held on Oct. 2, '03, at Epoch Ritsumei, in celebration of Tim & Anh's graduation and of welcoming new commers-Dr. Li from Shanghai, Ranjith (D1) , Ms. Izumi (Secretary) and other joint researching company's people- to our Lab.
Prof. Tanaka joined in our Sugiyama Lab. in Apr. '03, so Sugiyama Lab. came to be called Sugiyama & Tanaka Lab.
'02.10/20国際マイクロロボットメイズコンテスト2002（名古屋）にて4回生諸君の奮闘の結果、惜しくも優勝は逃したものの、3位と努力賞2件を受賞。B4 members won the copper prize & 2 effort prizes in the Int'l Micro Robot Maze Contest in Nagoya.
