Does this figure flutter by shifting the source of geometrical illusion?
The result shows:
The source patterns that form geometrical illusion appear to shift, but the depth appearance fromed by the geometrical illusion does not appear to move, thus failing to show fluttering.
Each frame is shown per 0.2 sec in the demonstration above, so a 2-sec presentation is tested below.
This demonstration gives some fluttering feeling. These results suggest that the depth feeling formed by geometric illusion might take time.
