Mr. Natsuki Hasegawa, is Graduate Student in Faculty of Sports and Health Science, his research manuscript was accepted and published in American Journal of Hypertension, which collaborated with Professor Dr. Motoyuki Iemitsu,
Dr. Satoshi Fujita and Dr. Kiyoshi Sanada and Assistant Professor, Dr. Toshiyuki Kurihara and Dr. Toshiyuki Homma. The study revealed that muscular lipids (IMCL and EMCL contents) were associated with risk of arterial stiffness, and this association differed with gender and age. In particular, IMCL and EMCL showed different contributions to the risk of arterial stiffness, they may be new candidate predictors of arterial stiffness in middle-aged and older females.
