World press photo, based in Holland, invites photographers to their press photo contest.

The winning photos are exhibited in over 100 cities around the world.

This contest celebrates its 52nd year. Ritsumeikan University has welcomed this exhibition since 1995.

The photos, showing events from all around the world, have the power to show us the true nature of the world.

Through looking at these photos, we hope you take a moment to think about what is happening in our world and

realize the importance of peace.
