Dr. Fatin Aminah Hassan, a graduate of the MOT Graduate School and
currently a specially appointed researcher at the National Institute of Health
and Nutrition, has been honored with the "Early Career Health Paper Award
(Honorable Mention)" by the International System Dynamics Society!
She received this award for her co-authored paper with Professor/Dean Noriaki
Minato of the MOT Graduate School, titled "Impacts of Salt Intake
Reduction Interventions on Medical and Long-term Care Costs in Japan."
Their research designed scenarios for the market diffusion of reduced-salt
foods by Japanese companies and, through simulations, highlighted the long-term
effects on reducing medical costs in Japan. This work has been highly
recognized on the international stage.
