Research Support Staff System
Content | This system provides a salary subsidy of up to 300,000 yen per term (6 months) to hire “research support staff” for continued research, in order to allow employees to balance their research activities with pregnancy, childbirth, childcare, nursing care and other life events.
*Applicants who are planning to take maternity/postnatal leave,childcare leave, nursing care leave, and other leaves of absence during the use of this system are to follow the rules of “Treatment of Research Funding During Maternity Leave, Childcare Leave and Family Care Leave”. |

From AY2021, in addition to the semi-annual application (1 term, up to 300,000 yen), the full-year application (2 terms, up to 600,000 yen) can be selected. *If a new life-event (pregnancy, childcare and nursing care) occurs, reapplication is possible. |
