GAKKAI Scholarship(Academic Conference Scholarship)
This scholarship is designed to encourage and support graduate students' participation and presentations at academic conferences. Eligible students are in either a Master’s program or year 1 or 2 of an Integrated Doctoral program who participate in and conduct a presentation at an academic conference with a professor or associate professor’s approval.

this must be submitted as an Evidence (D) to improve your attendance.

It is necessary to make an advanced electronic application by referring to the following points.For details, please be sure to read the Application Guidelines.
Advanced application period : July 21, 2023 (Fri.) – August 25, 2023 (Fri.) 17:00
(1)No need to submit all required documents in advance. However, the following application documents must be submitted at the time of advanced application.
(Please put a check mark at the top of the application screen, and you can send your application as advanced application. )
●A: Documents showing details of the academic conference: Copy of Flyer, leaflet, brochures, full program agenda, etc.
(Conference name, place and venue of the conference, conference date(s) must be included.)
(2) Submit the rest of the required application documents by electronic application soon after you attended the conference.
Your advanced application above (1) will be returned to you after RARA Office check it.
Please attach the rest of the required documents and make an electronic application(send your application) again.
・If you fail to submit the required application documents promptly, our office cannot guarantee the disbursement of your scholarship.
・RARA Office might contact you by phone or e-mail after you submit your application documents. So check your call history on your mobile phone and your e-mail regularly.
・If you cancel attending the conference which you have made an advanced application for, contact RARA Office immediately.
Type / Amount of Scholarship / Limit of scholarship disbursement
*[1] Regardless of whether the conference was held in Japan or overseas.
*Scholarships will be implemented (disbursed) in the order of applications submitted by each student. Therefore, students should determine the type of scholarship they will apply for each academic conference in a planned manner. The type of scholarship cannot be changed after the application has been accepted.
