Ritsumeikan University is part of the “Kyoto Qualia Forum ^*” which consists of leading companies and universities of Kyoto. The purpose of this forum is to create a place for “resonance of knowledge” in cooperation with academia and unique industries, and foster world-leading professionals.
The Kyoto Qualia Forum is calling for presenters of “Doctoral Career Messe KYOTO 2024.” This is a great opportunity for doctoral students to share their research and develop networks with other students and professionals of leading companies based in Kyoto.
Please register by September 13th to take part in this special event as a presenter.

Preparation

1. Elevator Pitch PowerPoint Slide
・Please create one PowerPoint slide (size 16:9).
・The deadline for the slide is October 2nd (Wed).
・The slide will be distributed to other presenters and participants beforehand. Please make sure that the content, particularly research-related content, can be publicized.

2. Poster Presentation
・Please include the following information on the poster.
①Name ②Affiliation (name of university and graduate school, year level) ③ Research description (theme, overview, key feature, future prospects) ④Self-introduction
・Please bring the poster on the day and display it at the designated area prior to the commencement.
・The size and other details of the poster will be notified to the presenters later.
・The language used for the poster must be Japanese or English.
・Professionals from participating companies of the Kyoto Qualia Forum and Kyoto Prefecture/City, and students from participating universities will be the main audience. The audience is not limited to academics/engineers, so please keep in mind to communicate the connection between your research and society to audience from various backgrounds.
