ONLINE Academic Writing Tutorials Spring 2023

This is a good opportunity to have your written work checked by an English
instructor. You can sign-up for a private (one-on-one) tutorial session in which
an instructor will check your actual paper and find areas to be improved. 
If you are planning on submitting a thesis or academic paper etc. but lack confidence in your English writing ability, you should take advantage of this free opportunity!!

*This is an "Academic Writing Tutorial". Proofreading of thesis is not provided.
  Regarding "Academic Writing", Nature's web service,(Nature masterclass service) has now
  been introduced. You can register on this system with your Ritsumeikan email address.

<How to apply> 
- Applications will be accepted from:  9:00 AM on May 15.
- Deadline of application for each session: 5:00 PM on the fifth business
  days before your preferred session date.
 - Make a reservation for a session from the website below.

★ If you would like to book another session, you may do so after the previous session.
    Please note that if you book more than 2 sessions at a time, they will be cancelled at our side.

★You will receive an e-mail from SEICO Inc. for booking confirmation for the session. 
     You must reply to this e-mail within 48 hours AFTER receiving this message.
     If you do not reply, your session will not be confirmed.

This English Academic Tutorial program is provided to you by Ritsumeikan University in cooperation with SEICO Inc.
Your application form will be forwarded to SEICO Inc. who will contact you directly by E-mail regarding your booking.
If you have any problems with letting a third party (a private entity) have your personal information, including your name, contact information, student ID# etc.,
please contact the RARA Office before submitting your application.

  1. Since the writing instruction will be based on the actual written work,
    you must use your own written work (or select pages from your paper) on the day of the tutorial
    and make it available to show on your computer desktop.
    You don't need to send your file in advance. 
  2. The instructor will NOT instuct or give professional advice on the contents of your research.
