Illusions I encountered in England

I visited England and Scotland in August in 2002. I first participated in the VLST (Visual Location in Space-Time 2002) held in the University of Sussex, Brighton, England. In this conference, researchers discussed the flash-lag effect, representational momentum, and so on, where I displayed a variety of anomalous motion illusions with the title "A classification of anomalous motion illusions". After the conference finished, I walked around the city of Brighton, where I encountered the Zollner illusion on the wall of a shop near the Brighton station.

The other conference was the ECVPiEuropean Conference on Visual Perception 2002j held in Glasgow, Scotland. I took trains for transportation, from which I saw the Fraser illusion in the curtain of a building near the London Bridge station.
