American University (AU) Home Students in their second year and third year have started studies at Ritsumeikan University (RU) in September 2022.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, most junior students were made to defer their arrival at RU for one year. Having welcomed the 18 sophomores and juniors from AU at the same time, we are delighted for many fresh faces to join the RU community.
On September 15, the College of International Relations held a welcome orientation. The faculty and staff introduced to the students features and rules on their coursework and necessary information to navigate their new life on campus.
The students also participated in a series of new student orientations and academic advising in preparation for the Fall semester starting 23 September.
Their two-year journey at RU has just begun. We are all dedicated to helping them adjust to new environments soon and experience one-of-a-kind activities on campus.
