English Presentation Seminar
This seminar is Short-term Intensive seminar, and this aims for acquiring the Presentation Structure in English(Introduction/Main Subject/Conclusion) and effective Delivery Skill.
We recommend the graduate students who are planning to have an English presentation, not good at English, not get used to present in English etc. to attend this seminar!! Let's join this seminar and be able to make an English presentation which attracts the audience!!
Programs
1st class
Presentation Structure :
Creating the Story Message
・Engagint the audience from the start.
・Using transitions to build the message.
・Simple formulas for summarizing the presentation.
2nd class Delivery Skills :
Posture, Eye contact, Gestures, and Voice
・Combining spoken language and body language to help
the audience understand the message.・Mini-presentations with peer feedback
Target
Graduate students pursuing degrees at Ritsumeikan University as below.
- Those who wish to improve English skills for having a presentation overseas and/or writing papers
in English
- No condition of the major(Humanities course/Social Sciences etc. are accepted)
- No condition of English level
