International Symposium on Photochemistry and Photobiology of Supramolecular Systems and Coordination Compounds (PPC2009) will be held on July 9th - 11th 2009 at Epoch Ritsumei 21 in Biwako-Kusatsu Campus, Ritsumeikan University, Kusatsu, Shiga, Japan. This symposium is held as a satellite meeting of 18th International Symposium on the Photochemistry and Photophysics of Coordination Compounds (ISPPCC2009), July 4th - 9th, Sapporo. This symposium focuses on various aspects of "complexes", which include the following topics:
1. Photochemistry of coordination and metal compounds
2. Luminescence of metal complexes: photophysics and application
3. Photocatalyses of metal compounds
4. Photoinduced electron and energy transfer in complex systems
5. Photofunctions of biological systems and artificial supramolecules
6. Photosynthesis: biological and model systems
7. Others
