M.S. Kohei Kido is Graduate Student in Faculty of Sport and Health Science of Ritsumeikan University, and his research manuscript was accepted and published in Physiological Reports, which collaborated with Professor Satoshi Fujita in Faculty of Sport and Health Science of Ritsumeikan University. The study revealed acute resistance exercise-induced acceleration of glucose metabolism is related to increase in skeletal muscle IGF-1 expression after exercise. Moreover, the study showed that GLUT4 translocation after acute resistance exercise is prolong more than acute aerobic exercise.
