2017/02/15 A research assistant, Dr. Atsuki Fukutani published an original article in ROYAL SOCIETY OPEN SCIENCE.


A research assistant, Dr. Atsuki Fukutani with cooperation of a graduate student, Jun Misaki and Prof. Tadao Isaka published an original article in Royal Society Open Science. This study confirmed that force enhancement by stretch-shortening cycle would be caused by elastic energy stored in the crossbridges and titin. Elucidating the precise mechanism(s) of force enhancement by stretch-shortening cycle would contribute to developing effective methods to utilize stretch-shortening cycle.
