M.S. Kohei Kido is Graduate Student in Faculty of Sport and Health Science of Ritsumeikan University, and his research manuscript was accepted and published in American Journal of Physiology-Regulatory, Integrative and Comparative Physiology, which collaborated with Professor Satoshi Fujita in Faculty of Sport and Health Science of Ritsumeikan University. The study revealed blood insulin concentration regulated acute resistance exercise-induced AMPK pathway activation and AMPK-dependent gene expression. Moreover, the study suggested that AMPKα Ser485/491 phosphorylation is one of the regulatory factors of this mechanism.
