2017/6/23 Hiromasa Ueno is Graduate Student in SHS, and his research manuscript was accepted in Scandinavian Journal of Medicine & Science in Sports.


Hiromasa Ueno is Graduate Student in Faculty of Sport and Health Science of Ritsumeikan University, and his research, which collaborated with Professor Tadao Isaka, Professor Akinori Nagano, and Assistant Professor Tadashi Suga in Faculty of Sport and Health Science of Ritsumeikan University, was accepted in Scandinavian Journal of Medicine & Science in Sports. This study determined that the length of the Achilles tendon of medial gastrocnemius muscle is related to running performance, including running economy, in endurance runners. Therefore, these findings suggest that longer Achilles tendon may be advantageous to achieve higher running performance in endurance runners.
