Master’s Program
1. Major in Humanities
Research Course
This course seeks students who are eager to develop broad and in-depth knowledge as well as the creativity required to pursue a career as a researcher, and who seek to obtain a doctoral degree.
Speciality Course
This course seeks students who aspire to engage in professions that require highly specialized knowledge and skills, such as junior/senior high school teachers, public servants, and curators, after graduation. We also welcome applicants who are currently working as teachers, public servants, researchers or curators and who aspire to acquire more advanced knowledge and skills and return to their workplace after the completion of the course.
2. Major in Informatics of Behavior and Culture
Research Course
This course seeks students who are eager to develop broad and in-depth knowledge as well as the creativity required to pursue a career as a researcher – especially those with strong interests in academic approaches to humanities from the perspective of information science – and who seek to obtain a doctoral degree.
Speciality Course
This course seeks students who aspire to engage in professions that require highly specialized knowledge and skills, such as junior/senior high school teachers, public servants, consultants, and curators, after graduation, and, in particular, those with strong interests in academic approaches to humanities from the perspective of information science. We also welcome applicants who are currently working as teachers, public servants, researchers or curators and who aspire to acquire more advanced knowledge and skills and return to their workplace after the completion of the course.
Doctoral Program
1. Major in Humanities

The doctoral program seeks to admit students who wish to obtain a doctoral degree in a prescribed time period and those who seek to engage in education or research in universities and other higher educational or research institutions after completion of the program.
To this end, applicants are also expected to pursue research in their own fields of specialization from a unique and creative perspective and have a keen interest in other related academic disciplines in order to conduct interdisciplinary and comprehensive research. In addition, applicants need to have sufficient ability to present their research results at academic conferences and publish their papers in academic journals.

2. Major in Informatics of Behavior and Culture

The doctoral program seeks to admit students who wish to obtain a doctoral degree in a prescribed time period and those who seek to engage in education or research in universities and other higher educational or research institutions after completion of the program.
