Practical Seminar on Entrepreneurship
This seminar was set up for a small class of about 15 students to focus on the creative discovery of problems and acquisition of the program-solving skills. Cases are analyzed in steps that include: issue awareness, goal setting, planning, and action. Students also report on the results of their own real-world efforts.
Business Startup Internships
This involves a (six-month) hands-on internship with a BKC Incubation Center tenant firm or other venture firm. Interns are given work to handle in a problem-solving style as quasi-employees rather than being given the simple tasks of ordinary, new company employees.
Entrepreneurial Support Internships
This involves a (six-month) hands-on internship at an Incubation Manager's (IM) office. Interns are given tasks to handle in a problem-solving style involving incubator planning and management (IM assistance work) or tenant firm assistance (sales promotion support and services, accounting support and services, and other work under the guidance of external consultants or accountants).
Business Startup Internships of University-Industry Collaborative Entrepreneurship Education Program
In cooperation with Consortium Participant Firms, interns address topics pertinent to specific industries and attempt to solve problems.
