Main Types of Support for Mirai Seminar Provided by the Liberal Arts Center

If recognized as a Mirai Seminar, seminar groups can receive the following types of support. This support is available to forty seminar groups per year.

Assistance with activity expenses

  • Literature purchases and photocopying costs
  • Honorarium payments and transportation expenses for guest speakers
  • Travel and transportation expenses when conducting fieldwork
  • Honorarium payment for mentors (faculty, staff, and graduate students)
  • Cost of producing essay collections, etc.

Looking for seminar members

  • Recruitment of seminar members
  • Getting matched with seminar mentors (faculty, staff, and graduate students) who provide advice regarding seminar management

Disseminating seminar activity results throughout society

  • Introduction of activities on this website
  • Holding activity debriefing meetings, etc.
