若手研究者の研究発表を聞き、気になったらそのままディスカッションも。
授業後の空き時間や、電車の中など、ぜひ気軽にのぞいてみてください。
Rice Ball Seminar is a casual 30-minute seminar that anyone - students, faculty and staff - can join online.
You can listen to research presentations by early researchers, and if you are interested, you can join in the discussion.
Please feel free to take a look at seminars in your spare time after class, on the train, etc.

【研究についての紹介】遠隔医療はCOVID19の関係で、世界の中に注目されています。この分野の開発は依然として急速に進化しているため、遠隔医療文献の傾向を特定することは、遠隔医療研究の将来の方向性を決定するのに役立つ重要な作業です。
【研究者の道を選んだきっかけ】大学を卒業する時、何をしようかと迷いました。学部時代日本語専攻だった私は古文や文法には興味がなかったので、日本に留学してもいいかと悩みました。「留守児童」経験を振り返って、自分に何の影響を及ぼしたのかを探りたいためです。

【About Research】Solar energy is a rich source that can transform the global energy structure. Unfortunately, due to economic reasons, meteorological stations observing global solar radiation are far fewer than those observing general meteorological parameters like temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and sunshine duration. We provide a forecasting method for predicting solar radiation by general meteorological parameters.
【Why I decided to pursue researcher】 While perusing academic journals for a graduate course, I noticed consistent gaps and unaddressed questions within the prevailing literature. This realization wasn't a moment of disappointment; instead, it sparked a fervent desire within me to contribute meaningfully to the field.

【About Research】The speaker will present about the use of constructed wetlands for mine drainage treatment. In addition, an innovative recycling of seashells as substrates in constructed wetlands for mine wastewater decontamination can promote improvement of the treatment performance and contribute to reducing solid waste in a simple, cheap, and eco-friendly way.
【Why I decided to pursue researcher】I fell in love with water treatment processes when I was a high school student. I want to develop green technologies for wastewater treatment instead of using conventional technologies with many chemicals and high costs. Thus, I decided to study about the use of constructed wetland-a potential green technology for removing pollutants from wastewater treatment.
