Consultation Reservations

Important Notes

• On this page, you can make a reservation for academic writing support to discuss English writing in English.
• There are two types of English writing consultations: sessions with a professional instructor and sessions with an APU graduate student tutor. Each type has a separate reservation calendar.
• For details on the differences between these sessions, please see the User Guide page.
• If you have not yet read the User Guide, please make sure to review it before making a reservation.
• The Writing Support Room provides academic support for writing assignments such as reports and papers. Please note that we cannot provide support for matters unrelated to writing.
• We support students so that they can develop their own writing skills. Therefore, we do not rewrite, correct, or proofread your writing directly.
• Each person may reserve only one session at a time. Please make your next reservation after your current consultation has ended.
• Each consultation session is 40 minutes long. You cannot reserve multiple consecutive sessions.

Reservation Procedure

• Open the appropriate calendar under “Reservation Calendar” below.
• Select the date and time you would like to reserve, and enter the required information.
• You may upload your draft report or related materials. Uploading them in advance will help make the consultation smoother.
• If you reserve an online consultation, we will send you the Zoom meeting information by around the morning of the consultation day.
