A special lecture and discussion event was held on May 19 with Chinese University of Hong Kong at Ritsumeikan University's Kinugasa Campus CUHK's faculty members and students visited Ritsumeikan and Professor Ryohei Nakagawa offered a special lecture titled "Japanese Economy and Japan-China economic relations." Graduate and undergraduate students participated from both CUHK and Ritsumeikan universities. Students actively discussed issues learned from the lecture as well as their own research topics. It was a great opportunity for students to exchange opinions not only about Japan-China relations but also about East Asian geopolitical and economic affairs. Some participants promised to meet again in the near future in Hong Kong.
