Special Lecture. Title: “The European Union (EU) as a Model and Trade Partner for Sub-Saharan Africa: A Reappraisal”
Guest Speaker: Dr. Alice Nicole SINDZINGRE (National Center for Scientific Research, France).
This lecture underlined the distinctiveness of the EU’s role in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) countries' development and regional integration. This lecture brought a new insight and analyzed whether the EU Union as a model or merely a trade partner for SSA countries. The lecture was held in Ritsumeikan University Kinugasa Campus, on November 25th, 2014, hosted by the Ritsumeikan Global Innovation Research Organization (R-GIRO) and Ritsumeikan University's Graduate School of International Relations.
Approximately 20 participants attended the lecture.
