Report on the AY2025 General Meeting and Reception Party
We held the College of International Relations Alumni Association’s general meeting and reception party on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
General Meeting
At the general meeting, firstly, the 17th board structure (incoming and outgoing board members) was proposed and approved. At the 2025 Annual General Meeting, the confirmation of the 17th Executive Committee members (appointed in 2024, with their term lasting until the 2026 Annual General Meeting), the addition of six newly appointed committee members (indicated with an asterisk), and the replacement of the advisors—the Dean of the College and the Dean of the Graduate School—were all approved.
Secondly, the AY2024 activity report, the AY2024 financial statement and audit report, the AY2025 activity plan, and the AY2025 budget were proposed and approved.
The AY2025 activity plan is as below.
- Activities undertaken to enhance the recognition of the Alumni Association
- Alumni networking and career development activities
- Offer alumni merchandise
- Provide financial support for reunion activities
- Encourage new graduates to join the association
- Holding the AY2025 General Meeting and Reception Party
- Prepare for the AY2026 General Meeting and Reception Party
- Maintain the College of International Relations Alumni Association website
Reception Party
The reception party was hosted by the organizer, KIM Minsu-san (Graduated on March 2023), and began with a toast by Dean Masashi Morioka. This was the first time in six years that the event was held in Tokyo, and participants enjoyed reconnecting with former faculty members, classmates, and fellow alumni.
