Getting to the campus
The Laboratory of Polymer Materials Chemistry is located on the Biwako-Kusatsu Campus (BKC), approximately 40 minutes from Kyoto Station.
By train and bus
From Minami-Kusatsu Station on the JR Biwako Line, take a bus for “Ritsumeikan University” (approximately 15 minutes; ¥230). Special Rapid trains stop at Minami-Kusatsu Station, which is approximately 17 minutes from Kyoto.
By car
The campus is adjacent to the Kusatsu-Tanakami Interchange on the Meishin Expressway.
Location of the laboratory
The laboratories are on the first floor of the Gakujutsu Frontier Joint Research Center (Building 14 on the campus map). Faculty and graduate-student offices are on the third floor of the Bio-Link Building (Building 40).
The laboratories moved to the Gakujutsu Frontier Joint Research Center in December 2020.
