7月７日（火）5限に衣笠BBP 一階にて
「Dive in Japanese Summer！~BBPでクールオフ！~ 」を開催します。

これは「日本の文化を通して様々な人と交流したい」「日本の夏の文化をもっと深く知りたい」という方におすすめの参加型のイベントです。

特に、今学期で帰国する留学生、また留学生とと日本の夏の思い出を作りたい方は是非ご参加ください！

このイベントでは、うちわを自由に飾り付けし、かき氷を作って日本の夏の風物詩を楽しみます。
また、日本の夏の文化に関する紹介・上映や、夏文化に関するゲームも用意しています。

何気ない日常に、日本の夏を添えてみませんか。
皆様のご参加をお待ちしています！


本イベントは参加人数に限りがあります。
必ず募集期間に応募をお願いします。【応募期間～6/30】

◆開催場所：衣笠BBP （1階）
◆対象：立命館大学生・院生（キャンパス不問）
◆使用言語：日本語、英語
◆事前申込：必要
◆参加費：無料
◆参加人数：20人（抽選）
◆募集期間：～6月30日（火）

We will hold “Dive in Japanese summer!~Let's cool off~!” on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 (5th period) at Kinugasa BBP, 1st floor.

This event is designed for students who want to interact with new people through Japanese culture or learn more deeply about Japanese summer traditions.

Participants will make their own uchiwa (traditional Japanese fan) and enjoy kakigori (shaved ice)— two classic symbols of summer in Japan.

There will also be a short introduction and video about Japanese summer culture.

Let’s enjoy Japanese culture right here on campus, in the midst of our everyday lives!
We look forward to seeing you there.


The number of participants is limited, so be sure to apply by the deadline.

▪️Date: Tuesday, July7th, 2026
                5th period (4:40PM–6:15PM)  
▪️Location: KIC BBP (1st floor)
▪️Languages: Japanese & English
▪️ Target: Ritsumeikan University undergraduates and graduate students (all campuses welcome)

*International students returning home at the end of this semester, anyone wanting to create final memories with them, and anyone who wants to enjoy Japanese summer culture are all very welcome!!

▪️Capacity: 20 participants (lottery-based)
▪️Pre-registration: Required
▪️Application Period: Until June 30 (Tue)
