We are excited to welcome a guest speaker with extensive experience at the forefront of international development for a special online lecture!
Our guest is Ms. Ikuko Takagi Matsumoto, a Fellow at Stanford University and former international development professional. She worked with UNDP in its Africa operations for seven years, and then with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for 20 years as a project leader and a division director for education and social development operations across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. She is currently a fellow at the Stanford University Distinguished Careers Institute.
In this lecture, she will reflect on her years of practice in international organizations and share how that experience led her into reflective research.
Are you interested in working for the UN or other international organizations?
Do you want to know what really happens in the field of development aid?
Are you curious about how professional experience can be turned into research?
This lecture is part of the "Cross-Cultural Seminar" course, but it is open to all Ritsumeikan University students. Whether you have a deep interest or are just curious, don't miss this rare chance to hear directly from a seasoned practitioner. Please register by November 17!
