Online event with International exchange and consultation on "SpatialChat"

OICの皆さん、こんにちは！定期試験お疲れ様です。秋学期はいかがでしたか？

Spatial Chatを利用して今年度最後のVirtual OIC BBPというオンラインイベントを以下の日程で開催します！

留学や国際交流、言語学習に興味のある人もない人も、試験疲れをいやしに、おしゃべりしに来ませんか？

今回はラーメンの歴史についてプレゼンテーション＆クイズもします。このテーマを通して、留学生も国内学生もラーメンの歴史、種類、特徴、有名な店について紹介し、日本の文化の一つを知らせたいと思っています。

開催日時：2022年1月28日金曜日12：30 –14：25

参加対象： OIC 所属学生（学部‧研究科や回生を問いません） 国内学生‧国際学生、使用する言語を問わず、誰でも参加可能です！

Warm greetings from OIC Beyond Borders Plaza (BBP) Management Staff.  How was the Fall Semester to you? How are your exams going?

 We are pleased to announce that our online event, Virtual OIC BBP will be held as follows.

In addition to answering questions or chatting, this time we are going to have a presentation the history of Ramen. Why don’t you join us and unwind yourself after the exams?

Time and Date:

12：30 - 14：25 on Friday, January 28^th, 2022

Eligibility:

OIC Students (at any year levels in undergraduate and postgraduate)

– open for all international and domestic students in multiple languages!

Details:

We will have several tables on different themes in Spatial Chat.

We are going to have a presentation the history of Ramen. Through this theme, both international and domestic students would like to introduce the history, types, characteristics, and famous shops of ramen and enlighten others of the Japanese culture.

 How to Participate:

No booking required. Participation with microphone only is OK!

What is Spatial Chat?

Spatial Chat is one of web-based communication tools. As you can see from the movie above, you can talk closer or keep a distance and communicate with other students by moving your icon.

You can access Virtual OIC BBP, just click URL and enter your name!

 What is BBP?

BBP is global learning commons which encourage “intercultural interaction and understanding”, “support for language learning” and “support for study abroad” on campuses at Ritsumeikan University. We would like to support, who want to study abroad, know how to learn foreign languages, know how to make use of your foreign experience at the scene of job-hunting, or who just want to make new friends. 

 Please feel free to join “Virtual OIC BBP” and talk to Management Staff members at each table. We are looking forward to seeing you all in “Virtual OIC BBP”!
