3rd Grade robotics, Robo Blocks Programming tool

Today in 3rd Grade robotics, we used the Robo Blocks Programming tool to make programs for Pepper-kun. This lesson was very special because Ritsumeikan Primary School is one of the first schools in Japan to use the new Robo Blocks software in class! 

The students had a great time making programs and interacting with Pepper-kun. It was a very fun and exciting day!

3年生のロボティクス科では，ソフトバンク社が「Scratch（スクラッチ）」をベースに新たに開発したロボット・プログラミングツール「Robo Blocks（ロボブロックス）」を使って授業を行いました。おそらく日本で最初に授業で使われたのではないでしょうか。

これまでのソフトウェアよりも，より簡単で，快適に使うことができます。バーチャルロボット機能をつかって，発話や動きを確認したり，マウスで簡単に視点を360度動かしたりできます。

初めて使った3年生の子ども達でも，あっという間にプログラムを作り， Pepperくんに様々な動きをつけてお話をさせるなど，とても楽しく授業を進めることができました！
