Grade 3 students had an online exchange with a school in Indonesia

We connected with Grade 3 and 4 students of Sinarmas World Academy (SWA), which is located in Jakarta. Previously (2016, 2017, 2018) SWA has visited us in Kyoto. This time we used Zoom, and each class had three groups of 15 students. Everyone had a chance to speak! We also shared our practice of the jazz chant “Little Red Riding Hood.” Despite the distance, technology helped us to provide this opportunity for real communication. SWA, thank you for joining us!

３年生はインドネシアの学校とオンライン交流を行いました

ジャカルタにあるSWA （ Sinarmas World Academy）の３・４年生とつながりました。以前（2016, 2017, 2018）SWAがこちらを訪問しました。今回はZoomを使って、各クラスは児童１５名ずつの３グループで各自話すチャンスがありました。そしてジャズchantsの「Little Red Riding Hood」を共有しました。距離があっても、テクノロジーのおかげで今回の「生」のコミュニケーションできました。SWAの皆様、ありがとうございました！
