Thank you to our friends at Sinarmas World Academy (SWA)!

３年生がインドネシアのSWA校の友達とオンライン交流行いました。

Our third grade students enjoyed interacting with third and fourth grade students of SWA, which is located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Before COVID-19, for three years in a row, SWA teachers and students visited Ritsumeikan Primary School. SWA also is connected with our long-time international exchange partner Peking University Elementary School. We are so happy to have our students continue meeting each other, even though international travel is not currently possible.

In this exchange, we loosened up with dancing to an upbeat Christmas song. Then SWA students introduced a draw and guess game, with a variety of topics. A few Ritsumeikan students had a chance to draw too! After several rounds of the game, we split into groups and Ritsumeikan students interviewed SWA students. We appreciate this special time we could spend together! Thank you SWA!

３年生は，英語の時間にSWAの３・４年児童と楽しく交流しました。コロナ禍の前には，３年連続でSWAの先生と児童が立命館小学校を訪問しました。SWAは立命館小学校の提携校である北京大学附属小学校とも繋がりがあります。今のところ現地を訪問して海外研修プログラムを行うことは難しいですが，オンラインで交流できるのは喜ばしいことです。

今回の交流では，はじめにアップテンポのクリスマスの曲を一緒に踊りました。次に，SWAの児童が絵を描くゲームを紹介しました。色々なテーマがあって，立命館小の児童も描くチャンスがありました！ゲームの後に，グループに分かれて，立命館小の児童がSWAの児童にインタビューしました。この貴重な時間を一緒に過ごせたことに感謝です。SWAのみんなさん，ありがとうございました！
