Although education and research of the principle domains serving as the foundations of Science and Engineering are being attained; increasing importance has been placed on finding similarities within the complications of subdivided academic fields. Fields of 1 study do not stop simply with the framework of mere Mathematics and Physics, but also are related to Engineering, Informatics and the mutual development of other fields such as Humanities, Sociology, and Economics. The roles which Mathematics plays in Finance or Information Security, Physics in Nanotechnology and Engineering or energy problems etc provide models for this kind of fusion. The Mathematics and Physics Major is the fusion of mathematical flexibility and physics as a core. The two educational research courses, a mathematics course and a physics course, are established in this Major.
Mathematics Course
Mathematical sciences, together with Physics,  has long been of fundamental importance in itself and also to education and research in other branches of sciences and engineering.
Expanding beyond this old and close relationship, mathematical sciences have developed close connections with economics and information science, resulting in new areas such as mathematical finance and information security.
This mathematical sciences program covers a general overview of mathematical sciences as described above, through interdisciplinary instruction and study.
The program develops the connections of mathematical sciences with engineering, information science, economics, and other fields through the development of applicable mathematics in information mathematics and mathematical finance, along with algebra (number theory and commutative ring theory), geometry (differential geometry and complex algebraic geometry), and analysis (theory of partial differential equations and functional analysis).
Physics Course

Physics is a basis of modern science. The purpose is to synthesis basic scientific resources with actual applications in an ideal manner. It aims also to bring about an overall happiness of human-being.

Our course consists of the following sub-majors: Astro-particle physics, Quantum theoretical physics, Elementary particle physics, Nonlinear physics, Mathematical eco-logics, Meso-physics, Surface science, Optical-electronic physics, Soft-matter physics. Some parts of these are well appreciated by international community of physics.
