Historical and
bioethical
studies of medicine, the life sciences, and their relationship with society
医学・生命科学と社会に関わる歴史と生命倫理という領域のなかでも、特に優生学に注目して研究してきた。現在は、科研費プロジェクト「デジタル・アーカイブを活用した総合的な優生政策史研究」（2025〜2029年度）を展開している。
My research focuses on the history and bioethics of medicine and the life sciences in relation to society, with particular attention to the issue of eugenics. I am currently leading a JSPS Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) project titled "A Comprehensive Historical Study of Eugenics Policy Utilizing Digital Archives" (FY2025–2029).
